Turn your website copy into social captions and your social captions into eye-catching content in reels, marketing materials and more!
It takes creativity, patience and a dash of fun to create copy for your business & target audience. You want the readers to understand what they’re reading but also connect to it and remember it when they are no longer looking at your content.
If you have all of your website copy already written, why not use that to your advantage and turn it into some killer captions for your social feeds? Let’s use an example from our TPM Website: “Our Approach”.
“We collaborate with our clients, working closely with them to understand their business goals, target audience, and competition. Our team of experts will create a tailored strategy that aligns with your business objectives and help you achieve measurable results. We believe in transparency and provide detailed reporting on the progress of your campaigns, so you can see the value we provide.”
This was taken directly from our website. It is clear, concise, and perfect for telling our readers what we are about here at TPM. For a social media caption, this is too wordy and not fun enough! But fear not; with a few tweaks and a little bit of fun infused, you can move this right over to your next social caption.
- Use some emojis! 🙂 Separate your text with emojis to break up all of the wording.
- Use that delete button! ❌ Get rid of any extra wording that isn’t necessary, and spruce it up with some personality.
- Don’t be boring! 🥱 Of course, it’s important to get your mission or statement across but refrain from using too many technical words!
So, let’s turn that copy from our website into a social caption…
“Here at Theresa Place Media, our approach is to collaborate with our clients and work together to understand their needs!”
✔️ Business Goals ✔️ Target Audience ✔️ Competition
“We will work with you to ensure that our strategy is aligned with your needs, and show you updates & progress throughout our journey together for full transparency!”
Voila!
It’s important to make captions easy to read and eye-catching so that readers will want to stop and take a look at what you have to say!
Now that you’ve done that and shortened your website copy, it’s easy to take these ‘bites’ and use them on screen for reels, or in print marketing materials! You don’t want to offer viewers a full ‘sandwich’ at once; by breaking it down into digestible bites it makes it easier to read and keep their attention! You want them to keep watching or reading!
Hopefully, this was helpful for those hoping to turn your website copy into something fun for your marketing needs!
