Part-Time Content Designer – Hybrid
Job Description:
We are seeking a Part-Time Content Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a creative and detail-oriented individual passionate about visual storytelling, branding, and content creation. You will play a key role in designing engaging visuals for social media, web, and print materials, while supporting overall marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Content Creation
- Design engaging Canva graphics for social media, marketing campaigns, and client deliverables.
- Develop visually compelling presentations and branded assets.
- Create print-ready materials including flyers, and signage.
- Assist with basic video editing for social media content (Reels, short-form video, etc.).
- Maintain brand consistency across all client and internal materials.
Marketing Support
- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts for campaigns.
- Prepare and export files in various formats for digital and print use. Vectorize logos and graphics as needed.
- Ensure proper file organization and naming conventions across projects.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong experience designing in Canva (required).
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is an asset.
- Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.) are an asset.
- Understanding of file types, formatting, and exporting for print and digital.
- Experience with vector graphics and logo preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and layout/design principles.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Experience
- Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in graphic design, marketing, or a related field.
- Experience working in an agency or fast-paced environment is a plus.
- Portfolio demonstrating social media, print, and branding work.
